Club websites

A club website should be the club's front door, not its filing cabinet. Ours are built to bring people in.

The idea

Joining anything as an adult is hard, and most club websites make it harder: they are written for people who already belong. Ours are written for the person who doesn't belong yet. The homepage is an invitation, not a results board. What's on this week, socially as much as rugby-wise. Training times and an address, with no form to fill in; just turn up. Stories about real members, because the next person through the door wants to see themselves in someone who's already there.

The rugby is all still here, and properly done. It just doesn't shove the community out of the way to get to the top of the page.

What a club gets

  • A homepage that works as a recruitment poster for the whole club, minis to seniors.
  • News where match reports and community stories share one feed, written by your own people and approved by your admins.
  • Events as first-class citizens: watch parties, family days, festivals, awards nights, race nights.
  • Teams and squads with training times and an honest "new players welcome, whatever your experience" throughout.
  • Fixtures, results and league tables that update themselves, fed by our own rugby data service. Nobody retypes a league table again.
  • Your brand everywhere: your colours, your crest, your photography. No platform logos on your site, ever.
  • A site that works properly on the phone in a parent's hand at the side of a pitch.

Templated, but yours

Every site is built from the same well-tested foundations, which is what keeps it affordable and dependable. What you see is entirely your club: the layout wears your colours and crest, your admins control the content, and your members write a lot of it. Two clubs on RugbyClubhouse look like two different clubs, not two copies of ours.

See it live

Our first site was built with and for Crawley RFC, where the whole idea started. Have a look around it; the shape of what your club would get is all there.

What it costs

We price for club budgets, not corporate ones, and we'd rather have an honest conversation than publish a table that doesn't fit your circumstances.
